What do you picture when you think of the word "Brave"?

Is it Superman?

Is it the single mom next door?

Is it speaking up at your team meeting?

Is it wearing the outfit ANYWAY because YOU love it?

Is it standing up for something you believe in?

Is it the firefighter that runs into the building without hesitation?

⬆️ It's ALL of these moments and more ⬇️

It's standing boldly in the face of uncertainty with your shoulders back, head high, and hands ready.

It's that moment where you take a deep breath and stare at your obstacle, insecurity, enemy, or presenting impossibility with a made up mind of "here we GOOOO!"

It's not the absence of fear, but the belief in something BIGGER than the fear itself.

Several years ago, in a remarkably uncertain season that had shaken me to my core... I had the word "brave" tattooed on my right foot to symbolize taking bold steps into the unknown, confidently laying hold of all that God had for me. To this day, and especially THIS day/season, I am reminded once again to keep stepping, bravely.
